Embed a Contact Form into MySpace
The tutorial below provides step by step instructions for adding an email form to your MySpace profile. An example MySpace page using an email form can be seen here.
1. Create Your Form HTML
Get started by going to myContactForm.com and generating free form HTML code for your page. You can read our complete myContactForm.com tutorial here.
2. Open a Web Browser and go to MySpace.com
a. Login to your MySpace.com account


3. Edit Your Profile
a. Go to the Profile dropdown and click Customize Profile

b. Hover your mouse over the Module that you would like to add the email form to. Click the Edit Details icon ![]()

4. Insert the Form HTML
a. Click through to the area where you would like to insert the email form. For our example, we've chosen the About Me: area. Email forms can be added to any part of your profile.

b. Click into the part of the profile that you would like to insert your email form. Paste the form HTML into the Window (Edit > Paste, or CTRL+V, or Right Click and Select Paste). If you do not have your form code created and copied, please read this tutorial to learn how to do so.

d. Click the Close button.

e. The edit window will close. Now click the Publish button.

6. Test Your Form
Open a web browser and go to your MySpace profile. Fill out the form and press the submit button to test it.

Common Problems Encountered by Users:
I submit the form and get a form location error.
This typically occurs when you are testing a form that has not yet been published to your live website. If you are still having this problem once you have uploaded the file to the live website, please read below.
If you are using myContactForm.com, you will need to login and make sure that you've set the Form Location setting to the proper URL for your form.
a. Login to myContactForm.com

b. Click the Edit Button

c. Click the Basic Form Information Button

d. Enter all variations of the URL where the form will appear. Typically this is simply the URL of your MySpace Profile.
